With more than 50 years of legal experience, Richard L. Hanna has built a respected career serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout Amarillo, Texas. Since earning his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1974, he has provided trusted legal counsel grounded in professionalism, integrity, and a meticulous attention to detail. His educational background includes an Associate of Arts degree from Amarillo College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Texas State University. During law school, he distinguished himself through participation in numerous academic honor societies, including Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Chi, and the Order of the Coif, while also serving on the Board of Editors for the Texas Tech Law Review.
Since opening his practice in 1975, Richard has remained committed to delivering responsive, client-focused representation with clear communication and hands-on legal guidance. His practice encompasses a wide range of areas, including general civil practice, real estate law, banking, probate, estate planning, trusts, commercial law, bankruptcy, corporate and business law, and civil litigation.
